I have seen many postings about changing to drag bars. Some say that the flat drag bars hit the tank, I test fitted a set on my '87 and I can't figure out how that could happen. I had 1 inch of clearance on both sides.
now to my question..... in the dennis kirk Harley catalog I found what the call a cafe style handlebar, they look alot like the drag bars but with a 2 1/2 inch rise to get them over the tank without changing the risers. The drag bars I tryed were just to low had me bent over. Has anyone tried these type of bars? If so can I get some input on them? If not I guess I will give my opinion soon.
